If you’re like me, always overthinking your life decisions and mistakes, trying to rush some things that we think should have already happened but have not changed, let me try to help you with some reminders.
So, if you relate to that, I want to remind you that we’ve chosen to surrender our lives to Jesus; it means that: If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord (Romans 14:8).

Our lives belong to the Lord; He’s the one who has the better plan, and He also said that He’s working on us through many means until the day Christ Jesus returns. To have faith in God’s promises and endure the challenges and trials while waiting patiently for the breakthrough—when you see no tangible hope, when everything does not work out—I got you, and I want to help you find some comfort through the Scripture.
Jesus is our remedy for anxiety because He’s the one who knows everything, and He also said that He cares about us. Indeed, we all have experienced suffering in this lifetime. But don’t fall into despair thinking that everything is going to go wrong. Jesus is near, in the storm of our lives, giving us support in tough times, and no matter the trials in your life (relationships, family, financial, or mental health).
JESUS HAS GOOD PLANS FOR YOU.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
JESUS IS MAKING YOU IN HIS LIKENESS.
Philippians 1:6
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
JESUS USES SUFFERING AND STRUGGLES FOR HIS SAKE.
Philippians 1: 29
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,
JESUS GIVES US STRENGTH TO ENDURE SUFFERING, EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOT FAIR; HE HAS THE POWER TO TURN OUR SUFFERING INTO HIS GLORY, AND THIS PRESENT PAIN WILL NOT LAST FOREVER.
1 Peter 2:20-21
But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
Dear reader, we’re only sojourners and Heaven is our Home. God wonderfully created you and knitted you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139). Whatever is weighing on your heart, go to Jesus with your worries and fears. You are loved, adorable, victorious, beloved, and you matter to God; don’t be anxious about anything, for it won’t add any seconds to your life; instead, it will only steal the peace from the present moment.
Isaiah 35:4-6
Say to those with anxious heart,
“Be strong, have no fear!”
Behold, your God,
Romans 8: 38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 16: 20-22
I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy. 21 It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world. So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.
Luke 12:22-26
Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
JESUS LOVES YOU
