The Father Knows Our Needs

Luke 12:22-31

What are the basic needs of a human being?

  • Air
  • Water
  • Food
  • Shelter
  • Clothing

SOCIAL NEEDS

  • Social connection
  • Friendships
  • Family connection (Might not be biological)

EMOTIONAL

  • Emotional Health
  • Sense of belonging
  • Love
  • Meaning and Purpose
  • Affection

And so on and so forth, nowadays our society deals with a lack of clear purpose in their lives. Some may think the purpose is just working, getting married, being happy, or going through the seasons.

We all have desires, expectations, dreams, fears, traumas, and, deep down, a desire for true meaning in life. Materialism is a common issue, mainly in this generation, due to the growth of social media.

We, as Christians, need to look up at our Father. Our fast-paced life impairs us from seeing what God has been doing in our lives and around us. God takes care of us every day and sustains us in mysterious ways.

Trust In God

You might be going through a very uncomfortable situation and not know what to do. When the path ahead is unclear we tend to overthink and create the worst situations. But I want to assure you that God is watching over your life.

You can trust in God because He is trustworthy, He cares about you, He makes sense of our sufferings. He sent Jesus to die for our sins! We deserved the punishment for our sins but Jesus took our place and died for our; then, We no longer live in sin.

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.

What an awesome God! So, is God graceful? Of course, He is! We need to remember these things on a regular basis; letting go of control is the key to experiencing life in a much better way. So, how can we have joy even in sufferings, unfairness, loss, mistakes, and so forth.

Trusting God means believing He knows what’s best for us, much like a bird that must leave its nest to find food to feed its young, while knowing it is always close. But we’re not alone in this lifetime.

Holy Spirit ( The Comforter )

John 14:26 KJV

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

For those who put their faith in Jesus as their only Savior, the gift is the Holy Spirit. He is the Comforter who prays for us and guides us closer to God. We don’t have to understand everything about life.

Dear reader, I know— I really know— how life can become unbearably and totally messed up, but Jesus said that in this world we will have suffering. Yet we can also cast our cares upon Him, even when life is confusing.

1 Peter 5:7 ESV

casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you

Pray And Trust

14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Don´t forget that..

JESUS LOVES YOU
