CONFESSION

Lord, I wish I could change this; I wish I could make it all okay. But I know that I’m not going through this alone. I’ve come to understand that you will not waste my sufferings; you will make a path to me.

Lately I have been so overwhelmed by questions and fears of the future, unsure about everything. I’m trying Jesus, but I can’t wrap my head around this situation, and unfortunately, I am troubled by them.

But I find comfort in knowing that you were human too. You understand my distress and confusing feelings, even when I don’t fully grasp them. I do not know what you´ve prepared to me but I know that are good things.

I’m crying to you, Lord, because it hurts a lot. There is too much pressure and overwhelming feelings coming back and forth all day long, but I still believe you see me, Father, and I know you will provide what I need most.

Be my refuge, be my redeemer, be my light and salvation. I’m overwhelmed and anxious, but I find a place to rest in Your Word. You care about me, Lord; You saved my life, You brought me hope when I needed it the most.

Prayer for Redemption

Lord,
Even though I do not feel good enough, I know that You are, and that You have a good plan for my life, simply because You are a God of immeasurable love and grace towards me. Forsake me not, and do not let me be put to shame.

When I am anxious and distressed, feeling lonely and cast out, I know that You are there with me. Ruth felt this very same way, Job felt this very same way, and Elijah felt this very same way. Forgive me for my sins, and use me, Lord, to be a blessing to my family, friends, and colleagues.

Lead me in the everlasting path; establish my feet in Your presence for all the days of my life. Give me strength to seek Your Kingdom, Your mercy, and Your grace. You know how I am feeling, and I know, Lord… I am not alone.
