Whatever is heavy on your heart right now, it’s certainly something too big for you, so you can go to God, and He will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” It’s a promise for you and me.

So, if your mind is telling you something that is causing sadness, feeling undervalued, ostracized, etc., you must check if that matches with the biblical truth about your identity in Christ.

If not, it’s time to be reminded of them.

No one is too far gone from God’s forgiveness.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

I know sometimes, or A LOT of times, we try to make our mistakes or achievements our identity, but they’re very distant from our true identity in Christ Jesus. So, if you’re telling yourself things like: I did the same mistake again! God will not forgive! I don’t deserve to be forgiven!

God wants to build your identity in Christ through a relationship with you. You must be strong and courageous, dear reader, no matter how bad your mistakes, past, sins, or decisions were; God can restore you! And He will do it if you only allow Him to do so.

The process of letting go and moving forward is very hard, but is essential if you want to experience what God wants to do in your life! So now, who will you allow to define who you are? The world, the friends, your past, your mistakes, or even yourself?

God is with you, telling you how much you are valued by Him!
