A: Are you okay?

B: – I don´t know, I´m feeling kinda lost, you know? Sometimes I wonder why I need to be strong, I´m feeling so broken..

A: I´m here for you, you can share anything with me. Please, tell me what´s bothering you?

B: Life is too heavy, problems piling up in my life, decisions I regret, people hard to please, circumstances that never change. I have a lot on my plate. I don’t want to bother them, y’know? They’re already so busy. I tried to talk to my friends, but they didn’t take it seriously…

A: You don’t have to hold these things within you, life was never meant to be lived alone, see..

B: If life was never meant to be lived alone, why do I feel so isolated from others? I’m very bad at relationships… people are just so complex, and sometimes… people aren’t very caring with each other, especially with a weirdo like me.

B: I´ve tried several times to just be here, I tried to badly to just be present at the moment. I tried so much to just accept love and friendship in my life, but I always fails, how could someone like a person like me? Please tell me..

A: Your worth is not defined by your performance in your relationships. You’re tremendously loved, not because of how well and how right you make your life happen. It takes time until you understand why you´re going through these things. Sometimes you’ll need to go through some experiences that will shape you into the person you were meant to be. But it takes time. There will be days when you’ll need to learn how to get up and wipe away the tears from your eyes, forgive someone and not be forgiven by someone, love and not be loved back, borrow and not be given back what was lent. There’s unfairness in this life, and all kinds of evil. But can I tell you something?

B: Please tell me..

A: Even when you don’t know what to do, that is okay. This world you live in will never be able to grant you the greatest satisfaction, people will always disappoint you, there will be loss, injustice, and evil. But… I don’t want you to look at this world only through this lens. It is very wise of you that you comprehend that life is not what it was supposed to be, you know why? Because I’m calling you to be the difference in the world.

B: But Jesus..

Jesus: I know you, Ryan! I know what you’re going through, and do you know why this makes such a difference in your life?

Ryan: I guess, it is probably I won´t feel lonely?

Jesus: But you felt lonely, even though you knew I was there with you..

Ryan: Yeah… that’s true. Is it because I don’t have faith that I don’t understand why? Because you ask me these things, and I don’t quite know what to say about it.

Jesus: I want to work in your life through a process. I want you to intentionally share with me what’s in your heart because I’m really working in your life, even when you can’t see it or feel it.

The process of you going through loneliness, isolation, feelings of worthlessness, pain, grief, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and rejection will all come to an end. I know you don’t understand what I’m doing right now, but you will eventually.

I know you look at your life and wonder if I’m actually working in you, if I really am with you, if I really care about you. There are things you will not understand even if you try really hard.

You know why? Because I want you to trust in me. I am shaping you into a person who will eventually become sensitive to what I’m doing in your life. Don’t give up now, because there are so many things that I’m working on in your life.

Ryan: O Lord, why don’t you tell me what I need to do next? Why are you allowing me to experience so much pain?

Jesus: Ryan, I’ve told you all these things. I made promises to you in life; I instructed you through many different means.

But you need to believe it, you need to believe that I can do something better and fairer out of the ashes of your past.

And don’t try to hide from me that you’re struggling to trust in me. You doubt that I will actually fulfill what I once told you.

Ryan: You know me..

Jesus: So, Ryan.. do you trust me to lead you to a place where you can trust in me more fully?

Ryan: Yes, I do.

Jesus: Therefore, my Son. Trust that I will lead you into a place where you’ll be able to experience much more of Me, where you will have a broader view of everything I have been doing in your life. So, just for today, trust that I’m leading you into a different place. Trust, Trust, Trust, and Trust…
