I’d like to start this post by saying that God has been working hard in my understanding about the rest.

The famous preacher Charles Spurgeon once said, ´´You will glorify God by resting.´´ He was referring to the words of the psalmist in Psalm 116:7 :

Lately, I have been living my life in a process of finding a career that I want to follow. Also, I have been somewhat analytical about my skills, what I want for my future, my desires, relationships…

To simplify, I have been overthinking my future career and here’s what I’ve got over the past few months analyzing this subject very deeply:

  • Rather than put a lot of weight on my shoulders by trying to find the perfect career, I’ve decided to set a goal of learning. Which basically means that my main focus is to use my desired career to acquire more knowledge, and believe it or not, it has been much better for my mental health.
  • God is a provider! I like to recall the seasons of my life where everything was so foggy and I felt so nervous and scared then after that situation unfold I noticed I was worried while God was taking care of me.
  • Certainly that´s an opportunity to grow our faith, when the path ahead isn´t clear we tend to overthink the worst scenarios in our minds, believing that if we made a mistake we´ll utterly wreak havoc God´s plan for our lives, I want to ask you, how many times do you think God had to show you the right path because you were going to the wrong direction?

Allowing God’s Love for You to Sink Deep into Your Heart Will Help to Beat Anxiety.

It personally has helped me to see the beauty in the waiting amidst the chaos of our lives, don’t get me wrong. Do not settle your life in anxiety! Pray trusting in the Lord and go forward, trusting He’s watching over your life! Because He is, always.

I do not have the answers to all my doubts and all the stuff that scares me off, but I need to remind myself of Jesus’s promise of never leaving me nor forsaking me! I pray, dear friend, that you may find the comfort promised by our Savior, Creator, and Loving Father!

May faithfulness and courage be with you!

Jesus is still with you!
